The Lincoln Home Builders Care Foundation donated a total of $16,000 to Pilger and Beaver Crossing to assist in the rebuilding of their communities.
On May 11, Beaver Crossing was hit by a EF3 tornado. Representatives from the Foundation met with members of their village board in September to present them with an $8,000 check. They shared stories of where they were when the storm hit and the challenges they’ve faced since that day.
The following month, Pilger was hit by a historic pair of EF4 tornados which leveled most of the town. The Foundation also presented an $8,000 check to the Pilger Community Development Fund.
