At the April 15 Tribute to Youth, 12 elementary students were recognized for their “If I Could Build a House” drawings and narratives. LPS Elementary students were encouraged to think “If I Could Build a House” then draw their dream home and write a short description of their home. All entries submitted to HBAL were then judged by Roger Reynolds, Connie Strohmyer, CS Kitchen & Bath Studio, Kristen Donnelly, Reynolds Design & Remodeling, Andrea Wilkins, HBAL, Vicki Christo and Delrae Hirschman, Delrae Designs. We saw some real talent from these young people and hope someday their dreams come true. Each of the 12 winning students received $50 from HBAL and were presented a certificate at the event.
