MERRY CHRISTMAS! I think you would all agree 2020 has been an interesting year!
I’m thankful for serving as your 2020 President and for all of your support and patience throughout this year. We have worked hard through COVID-19 and the challenges it has created for us. We still had success with our two Hard Hat Happy Hours, with over $400 in donations to the backpack program for the Food Bank of Lincoln. The annual Light the Way 5K run/walk was canceled this year but our donors still participated with over $800 in proceeds for the Lighthouse.
Thank you so much for your continued participation. We look forward to exciting things next year. Our officers are meeting soon to finalize the 2021 calendar. We have postponed our Holiday Party typically held in January. However, plans are in the works to have Christmas in July! We will install our new officers at the HBAL Installation & Awards Ceremony tentatively scheduled for January 11.
