Wow, what a year it has been! Thank you to everyone who attended the YBP Holiday Party at White Elm in January and to those who brought donations for the Capital Humane Society. We are especially excited for Hayley (YBP Past President) who finally won an Apple Watch in the raffle… Hope you are enjoying your new watch! I would also like to thank Kelli again for her dedication last year as President of YBP. You were a big part in making our group a great success last year, and now I am really panicking because I have some big shoes to fill this year.
I will try not to make this sound like a cheesy Presidential speech, but I am really excited and honored to be the new YBP President this year. To those who know me, you probably know I can be a real jokester at times. Although I do love to have fun and add humor to every little bit of my life, please know I take this position seriously and I am more than ready to help lead this organization in 2020. If you are not already a member of YBP, please consider joining this year or stop by one of our events – I promise we don’t bite. We have several events planned for this year and there will be lots of opportunities to network with other young professionals in the industry.
We do not have anything scheduled in February due to the Home Show, so be sure to mark your calendars for our next YBP event on March 24 at the HBAL office – can’t wait to see you all there!
