Scholarships for Students Pursuing a Career in Construction

The Lincoln Home Builders Care Foundation awards scholarships to seniors from southeast Nebraska high schools who will be attending an accredited college, university or technical college and majoring in one of the construction fields.

The Home Builders Association of Lincoln and the Remodelers Council award $1000 scholarships which are open to any senior.

The President's Scholarship is $2000 and open to a senior who has a relative who is a member or is employed by a member of the Home Builders Association of Lincoln.

Southeast Community College Scholarships

The Foundation also funds $750 scholarships for students enrolled in construction-specific degree programs at Southeast Community College.

Every year, we celebrate outstanding young people who have excelled in programs we sponsor, such as the Interior Design and CAD Residential Design Contests. Scholarships are also awarded to high school seniors who are continuing their education in a construction-related field.

Help Students Build Their Future

Local employers can help students explore construction careers through jobs, internships, job shadowing and other hands-on learning opportunities.

Lincoln Public Schools accepts opportunity submissions from businesses and organizations interested in connecting with students. Submitted opportunities are reviewed by LPS before being shared.
