First off, I would like to say thank you and farewell to Kristin Sims. We have enjoyed having you lead us through the first part of 2020. Kristin, best wishes to you and Josh as you relocate to Arizona and best of luck with your future endeavors.
I will be stepping back in as President for the rest of 2020. These times have been extremely tough and I pray you and your families have been safe and healthy. As we continue to look into 2020, our schedule has been diminished with regards to COVID-19. However, we have started to resume a few of our events. On June 23 we presented a check for $900 to the Lighthouse from our Light the Way 5K sponsors (see picture below). Even though the 5K was canceled, our generous sponsors were willing to send those funds directly to this great cause. Looking into July we have our first Hard Hat Happy Hour. Thank you to Build DCB for hosting this event on July 16 from 5 to 7 pm.
Get out and socialize with our members. This will be a great time to see everyone’s faces again!
