We had a great turnout for our Autumn Social at Glacial Till Vineyard on September 12. It was a perfect evening on the deck. We like to mix things up every few years, so if you have recommendations for a fall social, send us your ideas. The HBAL office is accepting Home Show contracts, and the spaces are filling up quickly. If you haven’t sent in your contract, please do so to secure your spot.
This fall HBAL will be offering two educational opportunities for our members.
- Mock OSHA Inspection on a Residential Jobsite (October 11) What happens during an OSHA Inspection? What do you walk by daily on your jobsites that is a hazard to you and those around you?
- Ticking Time Bomb: Techniques for Tense Situations (November 13) This class valued at $200 is being offered to HBAL Members for just $50!!

The nomination committee met on September 21 to determine the slate of officers for 2024. If you have an interest in learning more about what HBAL is active in, joining the board is a great way to find out. I’d like to thank all those who are currently serving on the board and who attend various meetings. Your time and knowledge are what keeps our organization strong and active in the Lincoln building community.
