First Vice President
Marlene Stroup
Schwinn Homes, LLC
In June 2013, Marlene Stroup joined Schwinn Homes with sixteen years of experience in commercial architecture, interior design and project management. She has been an integral part of the team that makes Schwinn Homes so unique and in December 2019, she became principal manager of the company.
Marlene has designed close to 200 homes throughout the Lincoln community and surrounding areas. Schwinn Homes has been a member of HBAL since 1982 and has been in the construction industry for over 45 years.
Marlene and her husband, Mark, have three children: Logan, Gavin and Layla. She enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
Second Vice President
Perry Haralson
Cornhusker Bank
Perry is the Chief Financial Officer and Director of Compliance for Cornhusker Bank. The bank has been an HBAL member since 1990 and Perry has been an active member for 20 years.
Perry is involved with several non-profit, civic and political organizations. His involvement in HBAL consists of serving on the Board of Directors, volunteer for Santa Cop, Lincoln Home Builders Care Foundation Board and various other activities.
Perry is married to Jennifer and has two sons, Coben and Caiden. He earned his undergraduate degree in finance from the University of Nebraska, a masters in business administration from National University and a graduate degree in banking from the University of Colorado. He teaches banking classes throughout the Midwest including the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Colorado. Perry believes strongly in the growth and benefits of a healthy housing and construction industry. Perry enjoys reading, golfing and spending time with his family.

Ryan Trausch
Lincoln Federal Savings Bank
Ryan is the Manager of the Loan Servicing Department for Lincoln Federal Savings Bank and has been an active member with HBAL for the past eight years and currently serves on the Parade of Homes committee and Board of Directors. Ryan was born and raised in Lincoln and attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he graduated with a degree in Business Management and a minor in Finance. He has been in the banking industry since 2000 and is also a graduate of the Colorado School of Banking. In addition to banking, Ryan has been involved with Junior Achievement of Lincoln since 2010 teaching kids about economics and personal finance and currently serves on the JA Board.
Ryan has been married to his wife Jen for 18 years and has 5 children: Isaac, Claire, Lucy, Henry and Simon. In his (minimal) spare time he enjoys pickleball, biking, golfing and volunteering at church.

Bob Bryant
Bryant, Katt & Associates, P.C.
Bob has been involved in the accounting business for over 52 years. Bob owned Bryant Bookkeeping for 18 years and then merged into what is now Bryant, Katt & Associates, P.C. in 1988. They have a current staff of 15 accountants and specialize in local business accounting service and income tax preparation.
Bob has been a member of HBAL since 1986 and has served as Treasurer of HBAL for 23 years. Bob and his wife, Phillis, have been married for 56 years. They have four children, all active in Lincoln. Rob is an investment broker; Jason is an owner and CPA at Bryant, Katt & Associates; Mike is employed with Sysco; and Shannon works at St. Michael’s Parish. They have 20 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Bob is an avid golfer when not working or spending time with his grandchildren.

Andrew Hartman
Hartland Homes
Andrew is the co-owner of Hartland Homes and NEWT Development. Hartland Homes, a family-owned business founded in 1984 by Duane Hartman, has been an HBAL member for 40 years. Born and raised in Lincoln, he grew up around all things real estate and home building. At 16, Andrew experienced the construction field working on rentals and as a laborer for his dad’s company. He graduated from SCC Lincoln with an Associate Degree in accounting and marketing.
Andrew has served on the YMCA Committee of Management since 2008 and participated in the Strong Kids campaign. He and his wife, Jennifer, have two children, Gage and Mira. He enjoys spending time with his family at the lake, working out, hunting and fishing.
Matt Murray
Murray Custom Homes, LLC
17 years ago, Matt started the company that is now Murray Custom Homes, Roofing, and Inspections. He was born and raised in a small, rural town in northwest Kansas – Colby! He moved to Lincoln in 2002 on a scholarship to wrestle for the Huskers and has been here ever since!
Matt and his wife, Meghan, spend much of their free time raising their two energetic kids, Brynn and Breckson!
Jeff Pankoke
RED Custom Homes
Jeff is a co-owner of both ACRE Design+ and RED Custom Homes.
Jeff is a native of Lincoln and a Civil Engineering graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He is a Licensed Structural Engineer. Jeff also contributes to the engineering community by sitting on two boards: the Structural Engineers Association of Nebraska and the Professional Engineers Coalition.
Jeff and his wife, Mindy, have been married for 14 years. They have two kids, Eve and Wes. Both children are actively involved in sports and other activities which leaves little time for leisure activities.

Jordan Kreifels is Vice President of Action Plumbing, Heating, A/C & Electrical and has over 18 years of industry experience.
Jordan appreciates live music and connecting with new individuals while actively engaging in community networking. His most fulfilling moments come from being a devoted husband and father, as well as coaching his children’s sports teams.
Tim Svoboda
Home Guardian, LLC
Tim is co-owner of Home Guardian, a subscription-based home maintenance and inspection service. Tim spent the first 15 years of his professional career as a property claims insurance adjuster and then running operations for a local franchise of one of the country’s largest restoration companies. Tim branched out started his own general contracting company and then Home Guardian.
Tim is a native of Lincoln, where he and his wife, Sheila, raised their three boys: Dylan, Thomas and Sam. Tim also serves on his church leadership team at Hope Community Church and coaches football at Lincoln Christian, where his wife teaches kindergarten. In his free time, Tim enjoys spending time with his three adult boys and wife in the outdoors, traveling to the Rocky Mountains and the Black Hills, which are some of their favorite memories.
Jeff White
Aqua Systems
Jeff is the founder and President of Aqua Systems, a member of HBAL since 2001. Jeff earned an Associate Degree in Investment Management from SCC and a Bachelors Degree in Business from Doane University. Jeff worked as a commercial loan officer before going into the water treatment business with a partner in 1994. In 2001, Jeff ventured out on his own and started his own company. In 2026, Aqua Systems will be celebrating 25 years of providing water treatment solutions to Lincoln and surrounding communities.
Aqua Systems currently has 14 full time TEAM members. Under Jeff’s leadership his company has received the Better Business Bureau Integrity award, SBA Small Business Person of the Year, Nebraska Business Development Center State Champion of Small Business Award, Lincoln Independent Business Association Enterprising Gambler Award.
Jeff lives in Valparaiso where his wife Kris is a guidance counselor for Raymond Central Public Schools. They have been married for 34 years and have four children and one grandson. Jeff has served on several community boards and currently serves as Secretary/Treasurer of the Valparaiso Rural Fire District. When not working Jeff enjoys spending time with family, working in his yard, hunting, fishing and golfing.
