Happy February! Have you kept up with your New Year’s resolutions? My goal this year is to raise awareness about the Remodeler’s Council and see other HBAL members refer to our group for support and knowledge. One way we can support each other is through the Home and Garden Show – which is fast approaching! What do you and your team do to make the experience as beneficial and enjoyable as possible? Here are a couple things we do to help keep smiling faces consistent throughout the entire event.

We mentioned in the last issue two ways we make sure our booth is as inviting as possible. One is to get a double size booth and the second is to keep it open and inviting. In addition, we have our Zeng Granite representatives wear name tags so visitors know who they are speaking with. We also make sure we allow our booth workers a break, and switch them out every five hours. This maximizes potential for productive client interaction and minimizes burnout. We don’t want our booth workers sitting, staring at phones or looking overwhelmed. We want fresh faces and good conversations.

We know how hard everyone works to make their appearance at the Home and Garden show as productive and positive as possible, so I look forward to visiting each member’s booth to get a quick update on what’s new with you. Remember, the Home Show is a place to meet new customers, but also a place to deepen relationships with other vendors. Friday night, please attend the Home and Garden Show Exhibitor Reception to mingle and celebrate! Vendors and Remoderlers Council members, come see me and say “Hi”!
