Tell us about your family.
My husband, Scott, and I have been married for 39 years. We have two sons, Scot and Dustin, and two grandkids, Lana and Prescot. Scot is married and works for Swanson Russell, and Dustin works for Lowe’s.

I don’t travel a lot, but we love Estes Park, Colorado.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
An actress
Where are you from? Where did you go to school?
I was born in Lincoln, grew up in Malcolm, and graduated from Malcolm High School.
What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know?
For 18 years, I’ve worked with a program that offers a social night for people with disabilities.
What’s the strangest thing you’ve ever done?
Put a whole orange in my mouth—slice by slice—in high school on a dare.
What is your greatest talent that you don’t utilize in your daily work life?
I’m not sure if I’m great at it, but I enjoy cooking and baking. My family and friends seem to like my food, so I’ll take that as a win.
If you could have a superpower, what would it be?
Super speed
When you’re not working, how do you enjoy spending your time?
Spending time with my grandkids, being outside, and reading.
Who is someone who’s made a big impact on your life? Why?
My dad. Growing up on a farm, he taught me about work ethic, patience, and helping others.
If you could trade places with anyone for a day, who would it be and why?
A funny car drag racer—fun experience.
If you could have dinner with one famous person from the past or present, who would it be?
Audrey Hepburn
What do you love the most about your job?
Working with homeowners as they select products for their new home or remodel.
What experiences and past roles have led you to where you are today?
I’ve always worked in customer service–based roles, spent 15 years in the lumber business, and then moved into concrete products.
If you could collaborate with anyone, who would it be and why?
Joe Martin from Iron Resurrection—to restore my dad’s old Ford F-150.
What’s one skill you’d like to develop or sharpen this year?
Getting better at Excel. I don’t use it a lot in my position, but I always like a challenge.
What are your future goals and aspirations for your career?
To continue doing what I’m doing until I retire.

Almost 15 years
How has your career benefited from being a member of HBAL?
Connecting with new people and reconnecting with old friends.
What is your favorite HBAL event and why?
The golf tournaments. I enjoy being on the committees and talking with everyone who plays.
